can we name our longing?

can we name our longing?

wishing all well this thursday,

i am sharing a few recent peaces below, feel open to responding back or in the comments...

a question //

  • If another world – another book, dance, film, class, poem, dress, quilt, life, love is POSSIBLE, what do you WISH for that world, book, dance, film, class, poem, dress, quilt, life, love to BE? Can we define/un-fine our wishes? Can we name, with SPECIFICITY our LONGING?

a recent message shared with a friend that encourages me as well //

  • If one idea is that we are born to give, what have you received? Materially, spiritually, technically, poetically. If you have been gifted with a neuro-rad way of seeing the world, what are you seeing? What are you loving? If anything you have been compensated with so much sensitivity, pristine intelligence, and a capacity to hold many and various multitudes. In that holding, what are you giving yourself? What do we give ourselves not just for our betterment but for eternal support. What scaffolding have you offered yourself in the forms of art to keep yourself held and patterned in love.  I love that you are delving into perhaps the scientifics of ways of seeing and thinking, knowing that people's need to categorize sometimes comes from their inability to hold. You are whole, also complete, you are becoming and you have come before. So thankful for you... Keep discovering of course, bound to bejeweled found..

star logic:  video

On finding yourself by yourself, may spirit tilt awake. On relationships that matter, may control flee with the wind. Why run with all your might? Why dance till you're out of breath? Does your heart beat faster when you're hungry? Is it, your hair, a mountain and a valley? It is, your hair, a mountain and a valley. A sentence-long expansion, a compunction of contractions. May sentry bow prostrate. Of the nature of your decisions, were you clad-iron sure? Of the nature of your writing, had you encountered a vortex? Of the nature of sex, did you often come? May sentry bow prostrate. Is it, your hair, a mountain and a valley? It is, your hair, a mountain and a valley. A sentence-long expansion, a compunction of contractions. Why run with all your might? Why dance till you're out of breath? Does your heart beat faster when you're hungry? On invitations to mirror, to reverberate reflection,  may control flee with the wind. On finding yourself by yourself, may spirit tilt awake.
