the future perfect of the past

Peace Song Of Harlem,

I am in much gratitude this evening for many, many things, (not least of which is the many connections made at Saturday's Fair at the Jackie Robinson bandshell here in Harlem - welcome to a growing community!).

I am hopeful, and sure, confident and excited.

I am a bit nervous, but full of a fiery joy.

I am still playing with this piece but, I need to put it down, for now.

I love this song, and it is a nice accompaniment to these journals.
